Colombia's official currency is the peso, which is abbreviated as COP. Prices in Colombia are marked with a dollar sign, but remember that you're seeing the price in Colombian pesos. We recommend exchanging money at a local bank before leaving the United States or using an international credit card, as exchanging money at the Colombian airport is more costly, and you will receive less Colombian pesos for a higher rate.

Sahil and Sara will provide three shuttles that will leave from the airport to the hotel on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 to avoid high transport costs and provide more comfort for the guests. However, it is very important that you provide us with your flight information to make sure you are guaranteed a seat in the shuttle.

Two shuttles will take the guests from York Luxury Suites Medellin to the reception. These shuttles will leave at 1:30 p.m., so please ensure that you are at the Hotel entrance at this time.

Two shuttles will leave the reception back to the York Luxury Suites Medellin at different times. The earlier shuttle will leave the reception at 10:00 p.m., and the later shuttle will leave the reception at 12:00 a.m. Please ensure that you are at the entrance of the reception at these times if you are going to take the shuttle.

The temperatures in Medellín in June are comfortable with a low of 15°C (60°F) and high up to 24°C (75°F). However, there’s going to be some days with rain during June in Medellin so we recommend bringing a jacket to stay prepared.
